Is proper that I give you a brief history on Joseph Smith. He was born December 23, 1805 in the town of Sharon, Vermont. When he was 15 years old two glowing persons allegedly appeared to him. He claims that the Father and the Son. He received instruction to join no existing religious groups for they all were Abomination in Elohim's sight (THIS MIGHT BE THE ONLY HONEST and TRUE STATEMENT MADE BY Smith). On September 21, 1823 an angel name Moroni supposedly appeared three times to Joseph, each time the angel appeared to him that he was sent from Elohim to reveal the ancient gold plates, inscribed with the history of the inhabitants of the Americas. With the plates were also two stones used to translate the characters on the plates. The next day he found the plates buried in a hillside, but was told that they would be given to him only when he became worthy.

Looking at history record we find that Joseph Smith on March 20,1826 was found guilty of FRAUD in Bainbridge, New York. ( I guess after meeting the almighty one he not prompt to change, what a Character) He had been selling his services by claiming to find buried treasure through the use of a seer stone. When he failed to produce for several of his customers, he was convicted as an imposter.  Smith allegedly retrieved the golden plates on September 22, 1827. On April 7, 1829 he gained the help of Mr. Oliver Cowdery who copied as Joseph translated the plates using the seer stones, Thus began the Book of Mormon. Notice that the new revelation with the Book of Mormon the PROPER NAME of the FATHER AND SON was not Reveal or translated correctly. Yahuwah AND Yahushua..  At first three witnesses originally testified to seeing the actual gold plates-Oliver Cowdery, Martin Harris, and David Whitmer. Later, each of the three either left the church, or discredited Joseph Smith, or disavowed ever seeing the plates.

In March of 1830, the first edition of the book of Mormon was published. In late 1829 or early 1830, Peter, James, and John allegedly appeared to Smith and Cowdery and restored to them the MELCHIZEDEK PRIESTHOOD. With this authority Joseph organized his church on April 6, 1830.

Some import ants events supposedly occurred, he received revelation from Elohim that forbade the use of Alcoholic Beverages, Hot Drinks and the use of Tobacco and Excessive Eating of Meat. The first temple was dedicated in 1836, and Joseph became acquainted with a new convert, Brigham Young.  Internal schisms and External conflict eventually led to the slaughter of many Mormons and the jailing of Mormon leaders in Richmond, Missouri. Joseph and his fellow prisoners escaped from their guard, crossed the Mississippi River and founded the town of Nauvoo, Illinois. Here Smith and his followers flourished until internal dissention produced dissidents who publihshed an expose of the church leadership's polygamy. And after destroying the dissident presses, Smith fled from local militias that had surrounded Nauvoo, The terrified residents pleaded with Smith to return and avert an imminent attack. He did return and then rode to Carthage, Illinois to face charges of rioting.

The night before the preliminary hearing, militia stormed into the second floor cell where Joseph and brother were held. Both were killed in a jail of bullets, but not before Joseph killed two men and wounded another with smuggled guns. Led by Young, a few Nauvoo citizens migrated to Utah and built Salt Lake City. From that desert arose the empire now known as the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Now after the brief history of Joseph Smith and  his Character lets look at the Mormon Church teaching compare to the bible WORD.

Mormonism: God the Father has a flesh and bones body (Doctrine and Covenants.130.22)

Bible :John 4:24 Elohim is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

Mormonism: God the Father is simply a man who achieved godhood. (History of the Church V6,p.305)

Mormonism: The Father the Son and the Holy Spirit are three distinct gods (Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith,p,370,372)

Mormonism: God the Father has Elternal Wives through whom spirit children have been and continue to be born. (Mormon Doctrine 1966, p, 516, The Seer, Orson Pratt, p,37,158)

Bible: John 1:1-2 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with Elohim, and the Word was Elohim. The same was in the beginning with Elohim.

Mormonism: Yahushua was man's spiritual brother (The result of the Father's intercourse with his eternal wife before the earth was formed) but became a god, equal to the Father, after his death, ascension, and exaltation (The Gospel Through the Ages, 1958, p, 21)

Bible: John 5:18 Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the Sabbath, but said also that Elohim was his Father, making himself equal with Elohim. John 10:30-33 I and my Father are one.  Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him. John 10:32 Jesus answered them, Many good works have I showed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me? The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself Elohim.

Mormonism: God the Father in his glorified physical body had sexual intercourse with the virgin Mary that resulted in the conception of the physical Messiah (Mormon Doctrine p,547. Journal of Discourses, V.1, p,51 V, 4, p, 218)

Bible: Matthew 1:18-25 Now the birth of Yahushua Messiah was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost. Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a public example, was minded to put her away privily.  But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Yahuwah appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.  And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Yahushua: for he shall save his people from their sins.  Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Yahuwah by the prophet, saying,  Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, Elohim with us. Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Yahuwah had bidden him, and took unto him his wife: And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name Yahushua.

Mormonism: Adam's fall in the Garden of Eden was a "fall upward" that was not sinful, but rather necessary for the propagation of the human race (Journal of Discourses, V.13,p,145, 10, p, 312, Pearl of Great Price, Moses 5:10-12 Doctrines of Salvation V,1pp. 114-115)

Mormonism: Man has the potential of becoming god, just as the Messiah did: man is king of kings and Lords of Lords in embryo (Times and Seasons, August 1, 1844. Journal of Discourses, V 10. p 223 History of the Church V 6 p, 306 Doctrine and Covenants 132.20)

Bible: Isaiah 43:10 You are my Witness, declare Yahuwah and my servant whom I have chosen, so that you know and believe me, and understand that I am He, Before me there was no El formed, nor after Me there is none. Isaiah 44:8 Fear ye not, neither be afraid: have not I told thee from that time, and have declared it? ye are even my witnesses. Is there a Elohim beside me? yea, there is no El; I know not any. Isaiah 46:9 Remember the former things of old: for I am Elohim, and there is none else; I am Elohim, and there is none like me.

Mormonism: The church of Jesus Christ of Later day Saints (Mormons) restored the true gospel to the earth through Joseph Smith, and the true gospel is found only in it today (Mormon Doctrine, p, 334 Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith, p, 119) (They don't even use the TRUE NAMES!!)

Bible: Galatians 1:6-9 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Messiah unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Messiah. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

It is important to realize that most of the Pastors and Teachers and people that teach Christianity doctrine are not deceiving people with Malicious Intent. They are simply passing on what has been taught to them, believing that it is the TRUTH. Many Catholic and Protestant and Mormonism have a Zeal for Elohim but is not based on biblical knowledge. Romans 10:1-5 Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to Yahuwah for Israel is, that they might be saved.  For I bear them record that they have a Zeal of Elohim, but not according to knowledge. For they being ignorant of Elohim's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of Elohim For Messiah is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth. For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, That the man which doeth those things shall live by them.  Deceived people are not even aware they are being misled unless they are confronted with the TRUTH. Tragically in life their is no excuse and we must all seek the truth or we will end up in what the bible calls HELL! I see the catholic believer like the so called bums of this world they choose a way of life that is not right because of their corrupt minds due to their wrong teachings and not seeking the TRUTH. And I write this to make you think!!!. Matthew 7:1-2 Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. Most people believe what I said about the bums and the Father says he will Judge them the Same.

Colossians 2:8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Messiah.

BIBLE: Thessalonians II 1:8-9 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not Elohim, and that obey not the gospel of our Master Yahushua Messiah: Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Yahuwah, and from the glory of his power;

Revelation speaks of the Mother Church and her Daughters, the bible gives us a WARNING come out of her my people before you partakers of her SINS. The bible is very clear, it shows that man is a sinner and need a savior, and after we ask to be save we must change our mind and our way of life to the instructions of the Torah. The bible teaches that the torah is the light under your feet, and it guides your path. Matthew 7:14-15 Because Strait is the gate, and NARROW is the WAY, which leadeth unto life, and FEW there be that find it. Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

Revelation 12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the Whole World: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. Daniel 7:25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change (Feast Days) times and (Torah) laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time. Notice that he like a LAMB (JESUS) but he speaks like a (DRAGON) He does not keep the LAW.

John 21:16 He saith to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Master; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep.

Food is the word of Yahuwah. Eat and be Full. Matthew 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of Elohim.

We read the Warning prophecy again in Malachi 4:5: "Behold I will send you Eliyah the prophet before the great and terrible day of Yahuwah comes. He gives us a Warning that the spirit of Eliyah is of truth and repentance. He is saying that if we go back to the Way of Abraham Isaac and Jacob he will not curse the Earth. These were Israelites that obey Torah.

The bible is clear on following one WAY and doesn't direct you to any other Way. In spite of the Catholic and the Protestant or Mormonism the well intent meaning of their doctrine and their experiences of being born again, our heavenly Holy Spirit comes to teach the truth through his WORD. The experience that bible speaks of is a changed experience to a Way of life. And when you belong to his Kingdom you must OBEY the KING. There is only one TRUTH, ONE WAY AND ONE KINGDOM. Matthew 12:25 And Yahushua knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every Kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand:

Hosea 4:6-8 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy Elohim, I will also forget thy children.  As they were increased, so they sinned against me: therefore will I change their glory into shame. They eat up the sin of my people, and they set their heart on their INIQUITY (Law Breakers).
 

Mormons claim that The Book of Mormon is Yahuwah’s Word, just like the Bible. Mormon Apostle Orson Pratt has said there are "No Contradictions, no absurdities, nothing unreasonable" in the Book of Mormon (Articles of Faith, p.505). But does the Book of Mormon contradict the Bible? Are there no absurdities in it? Is there proof that it was written in the 1800's but made to look like ancient documents? Check it out for yourself. The French word "Adieu" closes the book of Jacob (Jacob 7:27). The Book of Mormon dates Jacob between 544 and 421 BC. The French language didn't even exist until around 700 AD! This proves the book was written after 700 AD. Yahushua Messiah was to be born "at Jerusalem" according to Alma 7:10. However, the Bible says He was born at Bethlehem (Micah 5:2, Luke 2:4). Helaman 14:20, 27 says that darkness covered the whole earth for 3 DAYS at Yahushua’s death. Matt. 27:45, Mark 15:33, and Luke 23:44 says it was 3 HOURS. According to Alma 46:15, believers are called Christians in 73 BC. However, Acts 11:26 says that they were FIRST called Christians at Antioch (about 42 AD).

Helaman 12:25-25 says, "we read…" and quotes John 5:29. Helaman was supposedly written in 6 BC, according to the date given in the B. of M. The book of John was written nearly 100 years after 6 BC. So how could Helaman quote John and even use the 1611 King James Version to do it? Obviously, someone living after the 1611 King James Version was written wrote Helaman! (Joseph Smith) According to Ether 6:7, the Jaredites knew about Noah. Since Moses wrote about Noah long after the date Jared supposedly left the Tower of Babel for America, how did they know about Noah?

The Book of Mormon sounds Biblical because some 27,000 words are from the Bible. Hundreds of verses are copied verbatim. For example, II Nephi, chapters 12-24 are copied from Isaiah 2-14, III Nephi 24 & 25 are copied from Malachi 3 & 4, and I Nephi 20-21 are copied from Isaiah 48-49 except for a few additions in the Book of Mormon. Even the italicized words from the King James Version are copied! The words in the Bible Version were NOT in the original text but were added by the translators to give clarity of thought. The King James Version was completed in 1611 AD and the Book of Mormon published in 1830. This proves that Nephi was written after 1611! Alma 13:1 says, "And again my brethren, I would cite your minds forward to the time when the Yahuwah our Elohim  gave these commandments." Was this time past or future? Obviously Joseph Smith, who fabricated the Book of Mormon, made a mistake here because he was living in the 1800's and got confused on the tenses. Ether speaks of steel (7:8,9) and breakable windows (2:23) back in Abraham's time. Neither had been invented at that time. Another proof that Joseph Smith was thinking in terms of his day when he wrote the Book of Mormon. According to I Nephi 2:5-8, the River Laman emptied into the Red Sea. However, there are no rivers in Arabia and no river empties into the Red Sea. Joseph Smith didn't know this when he wrote the Book of Mormon. The doctrines of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormons) are very interesting. Most of the 'odd' ones are not initially taught to potential converts, but should be. Instead, these things are revealed later as one matures and gains the ability to accept them. This is a practice of baptizing each other in place of non-Mormons who are now dead. Their belief is that in the afterlife, the "newly baptized" person will be able to enter into a higher level of Mormon heaven. The are three levels of heaven: Terrestrial, and Celestial, Mormon Doctrine.p.348. His primary tool is deception and he uses it to seduce humanity with cleverly created Counterfeits that divert people’s attention away from the truth. His most powerful tool is the lie. By deceiving mankind, he blinds sinners from Yahuwah’s only provision for sin. His intention is not to make evil as bad as possible but to make it as deceptive as possible. He does this by taking what is good and esteemed among men and creating clever Counterfeits. Many of his counterfeits have "a form of godliness while denying its power." Satan’s counterfeits seek to cloak or pervert the identity of Yahushua Messiah while compromising the Gospel of salvation. So many being Deceived!!

EZEKIEL 37:15-17
Mormonism teaches to investigators and followers alike that the  correct interpretation of this passage is that, the sticks are really scrolls, the ? stick of Judah? is the Bible, the ?stick of Joseph? is  the Book of Mormon, the joining of these sticks mean the joining of  the two writings, the Bible and the Book of Mormon.  In the Hebrew the word pronounced ?ets? means wood, tree or stick and ,  was translated in the KJV Bible as ?stick? (e.g. Numbers 15:32, 1 Kings 17:10, Lamentations 4:8, 2 Kings 6:6). In Hebrew the word pronounced ?sepher? means scroll or book and was translated as ?scroll? in Isaiah 34:4. The Hebrew words pronounced ?dabar,? and translated ?siph-rah,? mean and are translated in various passages, word, book or writing. In verse 15 the Yahuwah told Ezekiel precisely  what to write on the two sticks, and it was not ?the Bible? and ?the  Book of Mormon.? He was told to write, ?For Judah, and for the  children of Israel, his companions? then take another stick, and       write upon it, for Joseph the stick of Ephriam, and for all the house of Israel, his companions.? That was it; nothing more was to be written upon the sticks. As you study Old Testament history, you will find that many times sticks, rods, and staffs were used by the children of Israel to write their tribes and genealogy upon.

 The Bible speaks of ?books? (?sepher?) in many verses, such as Isaiah  30:8; Jeremiah 36:2; Ezekiel 2:9; Daniel 12:1; Malachi 3:16, and  Joshua 1:8. The Bible also speaks of ?sticks? (?ets?) in verses such as Numbers  15:32-33; 1 Kings 17:10-12; 2 Kings 6:6 and Lamentations 4:8. But G-d never interchanges these words. The people even asked Ezekiel  what he meant by what he said and did in verse 18. We as G-d?s  children often need to be shown by visual aids what G-d is trying to convey to us. The same was true in OT times as we see here in the  37th chapter of Ezekiel. In the next few verses, the Yahuwah declared  the two kingdoms of Israel would be brought together as one nation and with one King again. In fact, the entire chapter deals with the   restoration of Israel to her own land. At this time in history, the two kingdoms were divided. G-d never wants His children against each  other.

Furthermore, it was not Ezekiel who wrote either the whole Bible or the Book of Mormon. Besides, the Book of Mormon was written on ?gold plates? and not sticks or scrolls. Obviously, the LDS interpretation does not fit the context of this passage.      ISAIAH 29:1-4 This is another passage of Scripture that the Mormon says substantiates the coming forth of the Book of Mormon. "THE TWO  KINGDOMS"  Quoting from Mormon Apostle LeGrand Richards in his book, A Marvelous    Work and a Wonder, page 69: ?Now, obviously, the only way a dead people could speak ?out of the ground? or ?low out of the dust? would  be by the written word, and this the people did through the Book of  Mormon. Truly it has a familiar spirit, for it contains the words of  the prophets of the G-d of Israel.? The Hebrew word pronounced ? OV? or ?OB?, means a necromancer and is translated in the Bible as ?familiar spirit.? The Hebrew pronounced ?DORASH?, means to ?inquire or to follow after.? One time in Deuteronomy 18:11 it is used with ?the dead? as the direct object. To follow after the dead is translated as ?necromancer,? which is communication with demons. All of these definitions put together with a word or two from the dictionary and we have witchcraft ? that is the conjuring up of the spirits of the dead! Quoting from a LDS publication Mormon Doctrine, Plain and Simple, or Leaves From the Tree of Life, Charles W. Penrose, 1888:?The temple where the ordinances can be administered for the dead, is the place to hear from the dead. The Priesthood in the flesh, when it is necessary, will receive communications from the Priesthood behind the veil. Most holy conversations on all things pertaining to the redemption of the race, belong in the places prepared in the temples.? That is the occult practice of spiritism!

 There are at least 15 Old Testament references to ?familiar spirit?, and all of them deal with witchcraft. See Leviticus 19:31; 20:6,27; 1  Samuel 28:3-9; 2 Kings 21:6; 23:24; Isaiah 8:19; 19:3; 29:4. In the LDS publication ?Missionary Pal? page 170, the author tells us, ?Spiritualism? not of G-d! If the members of the LDS Church believe that the Book of Mormon has a ?familiar spirit,? they are identifying it with witchcraft!.  According to the Bible.

ISAIAH 29:11-12
Mormonism teaches this passage was fulfilled when Joseph Smith received the ?Gold Plates? and Martin Harris took a copy of some of the ?caractors? to Professor Anthon. A portion of this event is recorded in the Pearl of Great Price, JS 2:63-65.     These events do not fit Isaiah 29:11-12 because the text shows 1) this is a parable and the subject is a vision and not a book, 2) the vision of the prophets of that day had become as meaningless to the  people as the words of a book that was sealed. Isaiah was referring  to the condition of the people at that time and not a book of some ?future time,? 3)according to Harris, the professor said the translation was correct. Anthon could have said this only if he read  it. But Isaiah said the learned man could not read the book because it was sealed! The only way the professor knew the plates were  ?sealed? was because Harris, ?Told him they were.? In our passage of  Scripture, in Isaiah, the Book went to the learned man first? then to  the unlearned. But the Mormon story has the book of gold delivered first to the ?unlearned? Smith who copied some of the ?caractors? of his translation on a piece of paper which was taken to the ?learned? Anthon. In Isaiah the same sealed book was taken to both the learned  man and the unlearned man. But Anthon did not receive any book? sealed or unsealed, and in Isaiah the book was delivered to the unlearned and he simply said, ?I am not learned,? and he made no effort to read or translate it. But Smith claimed he (Smith) did read the book, even though unlearned. The Mormon Apostle LeGrand Richards said, ?Professor Anthon did not realize that he was literally fulfilling the prophecy of Isaiah.? (op. cit., p.50) But the professor didn't believe he was fulfilling Mormon prophecy, because in a letter to E.D. Howe, a Painsville, Ohio newspaper editor, he (Anthon) relates the events as a hoax and a scheme to ?cheat? the farmer (Harris) out of money. Instead of fulfilling prophecy he  (Anthon) became somewhat of a prophet himself, in that Harris actually did lose money. Let no one tell you what a passage or portion of Scripture says  without checking it yourself with what the Holy Spirit says to your heart. And when you do read a Scripture, read all of the passage in context. Remember ? ?A text taken from its context, becomes a pretext.?

LETS COMPARE
      1. Compare I Nephi 1:2 with Nehemiah 13: 23-27. The Egyptian language was a very corrupt language from idol worshiping people who had persecuted the Children of Israel as Hitler did the Jews during World War II. No Prophet of G-d would have ever used a corrupt language to convey G-d's message at this point in history. See the above quote from Nehemiah as to that prophet's reaction to a mixed language.
      2. The Book of Mormon speaks clearly that it was not inspired by G-d when you compare it with what G-d has already said about inspiration.I Nephi 1:3; 19:4-6: II Nephi 11:1; 25:7; 33:1; Mormon 1:2-6; Jacob 7:26-27, contrasted to Deuteronomy 4:2; 1 Corinthians 2:13; 2 Peter 1:20-21.
      3. I Nephi 2:5, Sam is a Yankee name, Samuel would have been a Jewish name. 4. I Nephi 2:8. There is no river in all of Arabia now or ever in recorded history, and no river which empties into the Red Sea!
      5. I Nephi 5:14. How could a devout Jew not know what tribe he was from until he saw the ?plates??
      6. I Nephi 8:4, ?Methought,? an Elizabethan English poetic word.
      7. I Nephi 10:8, exact quote from John 1:27. (An example of    (plagiarism.) 8. I Nephi 10:11, ?Holy Gost? is a King Jamesism and was not known in 600 B.C.

      27. II Nephi 25:19, ?Christ? was not His last name. Christ means ?The Anointed One? or the Messiah. The name ?Yahushua? was not foretold in Old Testament times. Check Isaiah 9:6. The first time the name was mentioned was when Gabriel told Mary as recorded in Luke 1:31, ?and shalt call his name Yahushua.?
      28. The Book of Mormon is purported to be ?a second witness to the Bible.? Who needs the kind of witness that condemns? See II Nephi 29.
      29. II Nephi 28:8-9, seem to condemn Mormonism's doctrine of
repentance after death.
      30. II Nephi 29:11-13, G-d dealt only with the Children of Israel and commanded them speak in His name in Old Testament times. In the New Testament, John 12:47,48, Yahushua tells us we are to be judged in that last days by the the things He has spoken.
      31. Jacob 2:23-3:12, condemns polygamy, see Doctrine and Covenants 132. 32. Jacob 7:27, ?Adieu,? French in 544 B.C.?
      33. Mosiah 2:3, ?. . .offer sacrifice and burnt offering according to
 the law of Moses.? The Book of Mormon ?Nephites? and ?Lamanites? were from the tribe of Manasseh, (Alma 10:3). No Manassite could give attendance at the altar according to the law of Moses. Exodus 28-31; Numbers 3:7; Nehemiah 7:63,65; Hebrews 7:12-14 tells us only the tribe of Levi and particularly the Sons of Aaron could give attendance at the altar.
      34. Alma 7:10 Jesus born at Jerusalem? See Micah 5:2; Luke 2:4. The Mormon argument is that ?Jerusalem? referred to the general vicinity,  but in I Nephi 1:3 it is called a ?city.?
      35. Alma is supposed to be a prophet of G-d and of Jewish ancestry.  Alma in Hebrew means a betrothed virgin. Hardly a fitting name for a  man.
      36. Alma 46:15, ?Christian? in 73 B.C., contradicted by Luke in Acts 11:26. 37. Alma 44:12-16, the bad guy gets scalped and suffers
nothing but anger, causing him to fight more powerfully afterward.      Incredible! 38. Ether 1:34-37, the language of the Jaredites not      confounded at the Tower of Babel, contradicts Genesis 11:9.39. Ether 1:43, the Jaredites are promised by the G-d of the Book of      Mormon to be the greatest nation on earth, and that there would be no  greater nation. However, in the Abrahamic Covenant (Genesis 15:1-5; 17:1-9, 19; 18:17,18; Romans 2:2) this promise is made. The seed of Abraham is still with us and the Messiah came through that lineage. The Jaredites destroyed each other and within a few generations  ceased to exist.
      40. Throughout Ether chapter 2, we find the G-d of the Book of Mormon needs to be given instructions and corrections, for his instructions are foolish. See Job 38-40, for G-d's reaction to anyone who might try to instruct Him. 41. Ether 3:9-13, 19, redeemed from the fall  because the brother saw the finger of the Yahuwah. Compare Hebrews 9:11-15, 22. Without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sin. See also Abel?s offering (Genesis 3:7). 42. Ether 15:30,31, Shiz struggles for breath after his head was cut off. 43. IV Nephi 6, 57 words are used to say 59 years had passed away.

Mormon's Believe they have the Authority in the Priesthood

One of the first subjects a Mormon will bring up in an encounter with a TRUE BELIEVER or Christianity is authority and priesthood. Mormonism teaches that the true church ? was lost after the death of the apostles, and that, after 1800 years, the true church with ?authority? was restored through Joseph Smith. Every Mormon elder claims to hold the Melchizedek priesthood. Without it, the foundation of their authority fails, as does their claim to be the only true church. A witnessing situation with priesthood under discussion might proceed as follows:

Mormon: By what authority do you (or, your pastor) preach, baptize
and, in general, act for G-d?
 

True Believers: By the authority of Yahushua Messiah through the power of the Holy Spirit (John 1:12?13; Acts 1:8).
 

Mormon: But the authority to act for G-d comes through the      Melchizedek priesthood. This was given to me by the laying on of      hands by one who has this authority.
 

True Believers: Can you show me from the Bible where it states that the ?authority? to preach the gospel, to baptize, and to offer the       sacraments, comes from being a member of the Melchizedek priesthood? In fact, can you show me in the New Testament where anyone but Yahushua Messiah ever held the Melchizedek priesthood?
 

Mormon: In Hebrews 5:4 it tells us that no one takes this honor unto
himself, but he that is called of G-d, as was Aaron.

True Believers: The very next verses tell us that G-d called Yahushua,
and no one else, to the honor of holding the Melchizedek priesthood
(Heb. 5:5-10). Once again I must ask: Where does the New Testament
state that the apostles or anyone else but Yahushua ever held the
Melchizedek priesthood which Mormonism teaches is the authority to
act for G-d?

Mormon: John 15:16 tells us that Yahushua laid hands on
His disciples and ordained them. This is where He gave them the
Melchizedek priesthood.

True Believers: The word ?ordain? means to appoint. The verse tells us that Yahushua appointed His disciples to go and bring forth fruit. John 15:16 does not even mention the Melchizedek priesthood, nor does it say that Yahushua laid hands upon them. In the Book of Acts there several Scriptures which make mention of the laying on of hands for the ordination to service, but none speak of an ordination to the Melchizedek priesthood.
 

Mormon: By modern-day revelation we know that Peter, James and John came down from heaven and ordained Joseph Smith to the Melchizedek priesthood, thereby once again restoring the church and the true authority to the earth.
 

True Believers: In order to bestow the Melchizedek priesthood, Peter,
James and John would have to possess it. Where does the New Testament state that they or anyone but Yahushua ever held the Melchizedek  priesthood?
 

Mormon: We know this by modern-day revelation. And besides, the Bible does not state that the disciples did not hold the Melchizedek
priesthood.
 

True Believers: Please turn in your Bible to Hebrews 7:1-3. This
passage tells us what the qualifications are for a Melchizedek
priest. Let us determine whether you (or anyone in your church) meet
these qualifications. The name Melchizedek means King of
Righteousness. Who is the King of Righteousness?
 

Mormon: (Jesus not real name) Yahushua the Messiah.

True Believers: Correct! Now let us look at verse three. Melchizedek
was ?without father, without mother, without descent, having neither
beginning of days nor end of life, but made like unto the Son of G-d,
abideth a priest continually.? Many Bible scholars interpret this to mean that there was no record of who Melchizedek?s parents were, and he possessed no genealogy. There is no record of his birth or death. He was ?made like unto the Son of G-d.? His priesthood was continuing and everlasting.  Do you know who your father and mother are? Do you know when you were  born? Do you have a genealogy?
 

Mormon: The answer is yes to all three of your questions.

True Believers: In addition, Hebrews 7:26 gives further    qualifications for a Melchizedek priest. ? For such a high priest was
fitting for us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;...? Are you holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners and made higher than the  heavens?
 

Mormon: No.
 

True Believers: Therefore, you do not possess the Melchizedek      priesthood nor the authority you presume to hold. However when you
have believed and received the genuine Yahushua Messiah of the Bible
you will have the authority (John 1:12) and the correct priesthood (1
Pet 2:9?10) of the Scriptures.
 

Mormon: You have given me something to think about.

Galatians 1:6-10 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Messiah unto another gospel:  Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Messiah. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed. For do I now persuade men, or Yahuwah? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Messiah. This a prediction of what the Mormon Church has done........
