Deuteronomy 6:1-9 Now these are the Commandments, the Statutes, and the Judgments, which the YAHUAH your Elohim commanded to teach you, that ye might do them in the land whither ye go to possess it: That thou mightest fear the YAHUAH thy Elohim, to keep all his statutes and his commandments, which I command thee, thou, and thy son, and thy son's son, all the days of thy life; and that thy days may be prolonged. Hear therefore, O Israel, and observe to do it; that it may be well with thee, and that ye may increase mightily, as the YAHUAH Elohim of thy fathers hath promised thee, in the land that floweth with milk and honey. Hear, O Israel: The YAHUAH our Elohim is one YAHUAH: And thou shalt love the YAHUAH thy Elohim with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes. And thou shalt write them upon the posts of thy house, and on thy gates.

Discussing Tzitzit the Bible states "and you will see them and remember all the Mitzvot of YAHUAH" (Nu 15,37-41). A closer look at the passage in Nu 15,37-41 shows that the command of "Fringe" Tzitzit applies only to clothing, as the passage specifically states "And they will make for themselves Tzitzit on the corners of their garments" (Nu 15,38). The Biblical Hebrew word for garments (BeGeD) relates to something that is worn as clothing. Deuteronomy 22:12 Thou shalt make thee fringes upon the four quarters of thy vesture, wherewith thou coverest thyself. The specifically states that the Tzitzit are to be put "on the four corners of your clothing which you cover yourself with". Wearing Tzitzit will become a great tool for conversation and witnessing.

Numbers 15:37-41 And the YAHUAH spake unto Moses, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, and bid them that they make them fringes in the borders of their garments throughout their generations, and that they put upon the fringe of the borders a ribband of blue: And it shall be unto you for a fringe, that ye may look upon it, and remember all the commandments of the YAHUAH, and do them; and that ye seek not after your own heart and your own eyes, after which ye use to go a whoring: That ye may remember, and do all my commandments, and be holy unto your Elohim. I am the YAHUAH your Elohim, which brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be your Elohim: I am the YAHUAH your Elohim.

The Torah "Law" commands that every four cornered garment have strings attached to it and among those strings must be a strand of blue (Tekhelet) (Nu 15,38). The strings of the Tzitzit are to be tied into a chain-like knot and placed on the corners of four-cornered garments. This is commanded in Dt 22,12 which states "Chains [Gedilim, cf.1Ki 7,17] shall you make for yourself on the four corners of your clothing, with which you cover yourself with." The chain-like knots can be made in any number of ways and do not have to be made in the Rabbinic fashion. The important thing is that they have the appearance of links in a chain (Gedilim) and that they include one blue strand.

Nu 15,37-41 "And YAHUAH spoke unto Moses saying, Speak to the Children of Israel and say to them, And you shall make for yourselves Tzitzit on the corners of your garments for your generations; and you shall place on the Tzitzit of the corner a string of blue. And they shall be for you Tzitzit and when you see them and remember the commandments of  YAHUAH and do them you shall not be led astray by your hearts and your eyes which you whore after. In order that you remember and do all my commandments and be holy to your  YAHUAH. I am  YAHUAH your Elohim who took you out of the land of Egypt to be to you Elohim ; I am  YAHUAH your Elohim ." Dt 22,12 "Chains shall you make for yourself on the four corners of your clothing which you cover yourself with."

"Speak to the children  of Israel, and you shall say to them to make > tzittziot on the corners (kanaf) of their garments throughout their  generations, and to put a blue (tekelet) cord (patiyl) in the tzittzit of  the corners." (Numbers) 15:38 The Scriptures "Make tassels (gedalim) on the FOUR CORNERS (kanaf) of the garment with  which you cover yourself." (Deut.) 22:12 The Scriptures  " Covering Yourself (YAHUAH) with light as with a garment." (Psalm)  104:2
 

YAHUSHA referred to the tzitziot of the talliot of certain Pharisees when He spoke of their hypocrisy in Matt 23:5: "But all their works they do to be seen by men. They make their phylacteries broad and enlarge the borders (lengthen the tzitziot) of their garments. (NKJ) In Mark 5: 41 Then He took the child by the hand, and said to her, "Talitha, cumi," which is translated, "Little girl, I say to you, arise." (NKJ) This another reason that I make mine short, is not about showing off but is about obedience to YAHUAH.

Some scholars believe that word comes from the word "Talith" and that the literal translation of this is, "Little girl who is now in my tallit, arise!" and the power of the intimacy that YAHUSHA had with Elohim caused her to rise.

In John 19: 23-24 Then the soldiers, when they had crucified YAHUSHA, took His garments and made four parts, to each soldier a part, and also the tunic. Now the tunic was without seam, woven from the top in one piece. They said therefore among themselves, "Let us not tear it, but cast lots for it, whose it shall be," that the Scripture might be fulfilled which says: "They divided My garments among them, and for My clothing they cast lots." Therefore the soldiers did these things. (NKJ)

A tallit is made of one piece woven without seams and is usually made of the finest material.

In Acts 12 we have the story of Herod’s persecution of the saints. After having James killed he had Peter seized and thrown into prison. The night before Peter was to be slain an angel appears in the prison cell. Then the angel said to him, "Gird yourself and tie on your sandals"; and so he did. And he said to him, "Put on your garment (himation or tallit) and follow me." (NKJ)

Finally in Revelation 19: 13-16 He was clothed with a robe (himation) dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of YAHUAH. And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses. Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty YAHUAH. And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written:

What kind of robe would the returning YAHUSHA wear? When sitting upon His throne with His tallit upon Him, where would the tzitzit land? Across His thigh would drape the tzitzit which proclaims "YAHUAH Echad" who is King of Kings!

The restoration of the use and meaning of the tallit is symbolic of what YAHUAH is doing on the earth. He is restoring our Hebraic way of life and heritage through YAHUSHA HaMassiah. Christianity made many mistakes when it distanced itself from its "Hebraic and Jewish roots". Do not allow the anti-Semitism that is built into many aspects of Christianity and the Greek interpretations of the Scriptures to rob you of your birthright , insights and knowledge of YAHUAH's truth. Especially don't let it rob you of the opportunity to declare to the world that you are a "Be a child of the (Commandments)."

Remember Galatians 3:28:

"There is neither Jew or Greek (Gentile), there is neither slave or free, there is neither male or female, for you are all one (new man) in YAHUSHA Messiah" and John 8:32:  "And you shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free."

We are all Commandment to be the same to follow the same RULES....

The Tzittzit is symbol of a NEW BEGINNING (wich means Hebrew to cross over the other side), the eight strings represent the New Kingdom a new beginning when YAHUSHA will reign! A 5 knots represent return to the Law (Torah) and YAHUSHA Name! And the 7 windings Shabbat! The 13 windings -THE WHOLE  HOUSE OF YISRAEL (Mannashah and Ephrayim together as Yosef). All this held  bonded together by the BLUE SHAMASH (SERVANT) YAHUSHA THE  MESSIAH! And the four corners represent Israel that YAHUAH  gathered together from the corners of the earth.  So, we are Honoring YAHUAH and YAHUSHA true Name upon us as Yisrael every time we put on a tzittzit. We remember also that Israel is ONE-Elohim in the Master Yahshua's (the Servant) hand! And, as the sages have taught, when we grab the tzittzit-we are grabbing the presence of YAHUAH.  Zekaryah 8:23 "Thus said YAHUAH of hosts, "In those days [the latter-days] TEN [representing the 10 lost tribes] men from ALL LANGUAGES of the NATIONS take hold, yea, they shall take hold of the edge (KANAF) of the garment [tallit]  of a man, a Yehudite, saying, "Let us go with you, for we have heard that YAHUAH (Elohim) is with you." Here YAHUAH has Zekaryah prophesy that the 10 Lost Tribes (Ephraim) from the nations will take hold of the tzittzit of a Yahudim (YAHUSHA/YAHUAH) or YAHUAH's tallit and return to their heritage of worship as Yisrael!  What a wonderful symbolic picture and remembrance YAHUAH has given us in the tallit!
